Don't worry we can help!
We'll try and make it as easy as possible for you to get your gear back so you can keep shooting. We can handle virtually all camera repairs for you and can give you a quick and easy estimate if you bring your gear into either of our locations. We service point and shoots, SLRs and digital cameras, plus audio-visual equipment and more. We can repair most models--from the latest in technology to antique equipment--as long as parts are available for that model.
Generally all repairs are completed within 4-6 weeks.
Is it covered under a factory warranty?
Most cameras are covered by a 1 year warranty against defects. If you bought your gear from Shutterbug just come on in, we'll reprint your receipt for you. If you didn't buy it from us be sure to bring in a copy of your original receipt so we can attempt* to get the repair covered for you. (*Some online stores sell product that wasn't meant for the USA market, we've seen manufacture's decline to service this cameras.) Either way, we'll safely package, ship and track your repair for $25.
Not covered under warranty?
We'll still gladly help you get your gear repaired and back to you as quick as possible. When you bring it in we'll give you an estimate for the repair. If it makes sense to get it repaired we'll handle the entire repair for you. Most repairs will have a $25 estimate fee, but you only pay this if you elect not to have it repaired. If it is repaired the estimate fee is included in the price of the repair. If upon starting the repair the technicians find more damage we'll contact you with a new estimate before fixing the gear.
Is it covered by a Diamond warranty?
If you purchased your equipment from Shutterbug and bought an extended service contract (3-Year Diamond warranty). Then you really have no worries! Just bring in your gear and we'll get the repair taken care of at NO COST to you!
Out of the area?
To make it easier for those of you enjoying life on the coast or any other beautiful spot outside the area you can still take advantage of our help on repairs. We'll contact you after receiving your gear to confirm the details and collect the deposit over the phone.

Please be sure to:
- Use at least 4 inches of packaging material between your gear and the box.
- Include a note explaining the problem or issue
- Include your name, a daytime phone number, address
- If you'd like us to ship it back we'll need a street address (no PO box)
