The falls are at their fullest and the dogwood are blooming along the rivers. Mirror Lake is reflecting at it’s best and most mornings begin with a soft blanket of fog on the meadows. It’s Yosemite at her best and waiting for our cameras.
While making some great photographs, we’ll also work on the fundamentals of lighting, composition, depth-of-field, selective focus, and perspective. We’ll work on shooting panoramas and using HDR exposure techniques. You will have an opportunity to work with almost infinite depth-of field, perspectives correction and shift panoramas using tilt/shift lenses. We’ll have super-wides, macros, and telephotos too. Every day will be intensive. We’ll photograph non-stop from sunrise to well after sunset and well into the night shooting star fields. Take advantage of this unique opportunity with instructors there to help you at every step. Our objective is to heighten your perception of the natural scene, stimulate your compositional eye, and give you the necessary tools to anticipate quick decisions in the field in order to respond to changing conditions. We think you’ll learn more in these three days than you ever thought possible.
