Saturday March 17, 2018 Workshop Orientation 5 – 6:30 p.m.
Sunday March 18, 2018 Sonoma Coast Photography Workshop 9 a.m. – 8 p.m.
There’s just something magical about the Northern California coast. It’s drawn people for hundreds of years. Every year photographers make millions of photos in an effort to capture the ever-changing patterns in a wave or the intricate tones of a sunset. Join this photographic quest to make some great images of the coast.
While making some great images, we’ll work on the fundamentals of lighting, composition, depth-of-field, selective focus and perspective. We’ll work on creating panoramas and using HDR exposure techniques. You will have an opportunity to work with almost infinite depth-of-field, perspective correction and shift panoramas using tilt-shift lenses. We’ll have super-wide’s, macros and telephotos too. The entire day will be intensive. We’ll photograph non-stop from morning to sunset. Take advantage of this unique opportunity with instructors there to help you at every step.
Our objective is to heighten your perception of the natural scene, stimulate your compositional eye and give you the necessary tools to anticipate changing conditions.
Dave says, “We think you will learn more this day than you ever thought possible.”
